I can imagine how FREEING this must be for all of you.
I'm currently on a wait list (4 years) to see Amy. We live in California and would move out there for the summer to work with her and then continue via phone and periodic in-person visits.
I love the integration of alternative methods Amy uses with desensitization and have realized she is the only one who performs ART.
There are private practice doctors across the U.S. that have been doing OIT (oral immunotherapy) for food allergies and it has received much momentum. I feel like it's given many children and their families similar 'freedom' you and Hayden are experiencing. But i wanted to check in and see how things are going 5 years later. I also have some questions I'd love to ask you if you would be willing to answer them for me. My email address is HUNNERSDLG@yahoo.com
I'm trying to decide if I should start my son on OIT with a doctor in California OR wait 4 years to see Amy. My son is 10 years old currently and I'm very concerned about exposure/reaction since he's becoming more 'independent'. I know the teenage years are the most volatile and high risk, so I'm really worried about waiting to start.
I would love to communicate with you if you wouldn't mind. I'm sure you're very busy and have many people asking you about your/your son's experience and may not have much time to share, but if you could let me know either way, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
DonnaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16654144974948929575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5334376010947285049.post-38925740680143194982015-08-04T09:47:05.795-07:002015-08-04T09:47:05.795-07:00Hello,

My two daughters have been on her wait list for about 2 years, and we've been told our wait will be another 6-9 months. Anyway, I wanted to reach out and ask how things have been with Hayden over the past few years. Has he had any issues with unexpected allergic reactions? I guess I'm just trying to do my diligence before bringing my girls in to meet Amy. Everything I've heard so far has been promising. I can be reached at ako1313@gmail.com if you'd like to respond directly. Thank you very much!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03212152521986251985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5334376010947285049.post-30832232578459157262015-01-15T15:47:36.420-08:002015-01-15T15:47:36.420-08:00Dear Amanda,
